The site is located in Ballycotton in East Cork. Serviced sites were left open to interpretation by individual clients. The approach was to try and get all rooms of significance to look at Ballycottom town and lighthouse to the South East. The T shaped plan allows for a rear annex that acts as a screen from the wind also and a rear west facing bar b q area. The 2 storey house stretches across the site in a North South Axis with dual aspect glazing for both east and west views. Contemporary approach granted by planners in an otherwise traditional area.
